Established in 2002, CryoCord provides the service of collecting, processing and long-term cryopreservation of stem cells. Initially offering the service to expectant parents who see the need to store their newborn’s cord blood stem cells, the company has innovated and added its service offerings by also providing Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) research, expansion and long-term cryopreservation. CryoCord is proud to be taking the lead by being the first and only stem cells bank to offer such a service in South East Asia. To date, CryoCord has amassed thousands of stem cells samples cryogenically preserved in its storage facility.
CryoCord maintains a strict code of ethics, professionalism and expertise in service delivery that saw the award of internationally recognized accreditations such as the ISO 9001:2000/8 from both UKAS and ANAB, ISO 15189 from Standards Malaysia and MSC Status from MDEC. CryoCord also provides the best facilities possible in its state-of-the-art laboratory by having a certified Class 100 Cleanroom for stem cells processing and by using advanced tools and peripherals in its laboratory operations.
